Our Story
The DCSN Group of Companies is a proudly Guyanese, family-owned business founded by visionary entrepreneur Mr. Suresh Jagmohan, who hails from the Pomeroon-Supenaam (Region 2). The name “DCSN” was inspired by the names of his four daughters — Davina, Chaitanya, Sevena, and Naveena, reflecting the company’s strong family values and legacy-driven foundation.
Today, the Group operates through three incorporated companies:
- DCSN Construction and General Supplies Inc
- DCSN Manufacturing Incorporated
- DCSN Marine Incorporated
The business began in 2000 as a sole proprietorship under the name S. Jagmohan Hardware Supplies and Construction Services. Through its commitment to quality, reliability, and timely execution, the company quickly earned a strong reputation for delivering major infrastructure works, including highways, bridges, and potable water wells across Guyana. In September 2020, the business transitioned from a sole proprietorship to a formally incorporated company S. Jagmohan Construction and General Supplies Inc., marking a significant milestone in its growth and development.
As part of its strategic expansion, the Group diversified into the manufacturing sector through DCSN Manufacturing Incorporated, the manufacturing arm of the organization. The company specializes in the production of asphaltic concrete, bitumen emulsions (CRS2 and RC250), and prestressed concrete products such as piles, slabs, sheet piles, and utility poles, supporting the growing demands of Guyana’s infrastructure sector.
To further strengthen and streamline its operations, the Group established DCSN Marine Incorporated, which manages its marine and logistics portfolio. This includes tug and barge services, wharf operations, and aggregate depots located at:
- Lot 13, Huis T’ Dieren, Essequibo Coast
- Lots 6 & 7, Section ‘F’ North, Plantation La Grange, West Bank Demerara
- Lots 3 & 4 (North Half), Plantation St. Lawrence, Right Bank Essequibo River

My journey in business began with humble roots in the Pomeroon-Supenaam Region, guided by a strong work ethic, determination, and a desire to create opportunities for others. What started as a small sole proprietorship has grown into the DCSN Group of Companies, a diversified, family-owned enterprise serving multiple sectors across Guyana.
This growth reflects the dedication of our employees, the trust of our clients, and our commitment to delivering quality products and services. Throughout our evolution, we have remained focused on efficiency, reliability, innovation, and customer satisfaction, values that continue to define our organisation today.

To meet the increasing demands of the construction sector, DCSN has invested heavily in local manufacturing capabilities. Our facilities produce a range of high-quality products, including prestressed concrete piles, concrete slabs, utility poles, sheet piles, asphalt, and bitumen emulsions such as CRS-2 and RC-250, enabling us to support critical infrastructure projects nationwide.
